Birthday Party

Okay I do not know what happened last time, because I posted it on May 20, but it says May 10. Anyways, I had my birthday party on May 16. I invited 11 girls, but only 7 came. All but one brought gift cards. One of my friends put the gift card in a box, and my dog ate part of the box! At my party, we went to this Japanese restaurant called Daishin where they cook at your table(hibachi). My best friend and I even tried chicken livers! When we came home we opened presents and had cake. Then we played hide and go seek but my mom made us stop:( I invited 2 girls to sleep over but only one could. Bye for now!

Severance Hall

6 and Counting!

Arghhhh, I did it again! I don't know how I keep only posting a title! On Sunday I went to Severance Hall with my mom and Grandpa Joel. First we got a tour of the place. The reason that there are lotus blossoms everywhere are because the founder's wife loved lotus and at the time of the place being built, King Tut's tomb had just been discovered so everyone liked Egyptian stuff. When the tour guide asked what was going on in the 1930's I shout "World War I" LOL. And the first woman to play with the Cleveland Orchestra was a harpist. At the time she started playing, there were no womens bathrooms so she changed onstage in her harp case! After the tour we had lunch. It was a buffet and I did not eat to much there because I was not that hungry and I did not like the food. So by the time the concert was over, I was starving so I had peanunt M&M's in the car. The concert was good. One of the songs was 45 minutes long!!! They had a short song, a chello concerto, and a violin solo. Go violins! LOL. (For those of you who don't know, I play violin.) Before the concert, I got a Bach music book at the gift shop, which turned out to have hardly any music in it :( I really need to look at what I am buying.

On Sunday I also gave my Grandpa a violin concert. I would have Saturday, but I was horribly sick.

Oh, and BTW, at school a couple days ago a Canadian band came to play. This one girl yelled "LURCH" at the top of her lungs when they were playing. That same day one of my friends' was telling her math teacher about how this one kid broke a pencil in half, then ate it. This is the teacher's reply "I hope it comes out the same way it went in. Think about how much that will hurt his little butt"

Today at science class, we got this article that had a bug mask attached. My science teacher said for halloween he would wear the mask and a speedo! Ewwww! Speedos should just be outlawed!

Rock and Roll Hall of Fame

9 and Counting!

Woohoo, single digits! Well on Thursday I went to the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame with my orchestra class. We were not allowed to bring cameras, so I have no pictures, :( But the weird thing is no photography is allowed, but they sell cameras in the gift shop. We had to listen to a boring show so we did not get to see much. Here are some of the songs we heard at the show:

R.E.S.P.E.C.T - Aretha Franklin

All You Need is Love - The Beetles

Blowin' in the Wind - Bob Dylan (My new favorite!)

Black Sabbath

For lunch at the Rock Hall, I had really crappy chicken wings and an enormous chocolate chip cookie that only had 2 chocolate chips :( We got to see Elvis's car and jumpsuit, and I was in heaven when I got to see that. At the gift shop I got a cool pen, a puzzle, and some Rock Hall mints. When we got back to school, we had a pizza party. Oh, and I was watching one of my fave shows, George Lopez, last night. There was this really funny line when Angie said to George, "Honey, I love you, but you're life is really jacked up." It was really funny. At noon today, we are picking my Grandpa Joel up at the airport. Bye for now!

Doctor's Appointment

14 and counting!

Well, today I had a 13 year old check up at the doctor's. And I told the doctor at the last appointment that I had been getting headaches so he told me to keep a journal. And a few months ago I finally got around to doing that. So I had it finnished and we brought it in, and he looked at it and referred me to a neurologist. Then today I also told him how I have been having trouble hearing, so I got a hearing test. After the test the woman doing it said that I missed most of the beeps and she was getting someone else to do it again. When the doctor told me the results, he said that I am hearing impaired, so he referred me to an ENT. My mom says that we will probably have the neuro & ENT appointments in mid-June, before we go to Kelley's Island. So after I have the appointments, I will say how they went.

One other thing. My dog Cosmo has figured out how to crawl under the flooring our deck and bark at everything under it. It is very annoying.

Btw, I will try to fix the blurry pictures and add new ones. Bye!
